Who we are looking for
This is an exciting new role within RASA's Australian Institute of Social Relations (AISR) for someone to apply their extensive project coordination knowledge and experience within a collaborative team to make a real difference in the lives of those in need.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Tertiary qualification (AQF Level 7) in Social Work, Psychology or related discipline or equivalent demonstrated knowledge and competencies appropriate to the work.
- Experience with project coordination, collaborative practice, and stakeholder relations.
- Experience in trauma informed practice.
- Experience delivering professional education workshops
It would be a bonus if you:
- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Experience working with clients who have experienced childhood trauma, including Care Leavers and Forgotten Australians.
- Experience working in Aged Care settings
- Experience in community engagement and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience working with marketing and communications
What you will be doing
The Project Coordinator will work collaboratively with multiple teams to develop and execute the project plan while ensuring accurate and relevant records and data collection to indicate project outcomes.
- Establish a clear project plan in line with funding requirements and the Activity Work Plan
- Implement the project plan and coordinate resources for successful achievement of the Key Performance Indicators outlined in the Activity Work Plan
- Scope existing courses and materials used across Australia, review content, and seek feedback from key stakeholders
- Develop materials that support Aged Care providers in meeting and evidencing Specialisation Verification requirements
- Engage and support people with lived experience to provide input to the project, including making warm referrals as required
- Work with the Manager Trauma Services to scope stakeholder needs and assess national Aged Care sector awareness of care leavers’ needs and gaps in skills and knowledge
- Be responsible for the development and delivery of a short online course built by AISR that is relevant and suitable for the Aged Care sector raising awareness of Care Leavers and their specific needs.
- Work closely with the Communications team in overseeing the development of a national awareness campaign, working with a marketing company to deliver the most suitable materials and resources.
